The Leaf Plaque is mounted in the foyer of the Australian Tropical Herbarium, JCU, Cairns. The Plaque was commissioned by JCU to commemorate the joint venture with Tropical Landscapes.

The plaque is a giant polished black Chillagoe marble leaf with lighter impressions of leaves from six different tree species depicted across the surface. The brief for the project was to depict specific leaf types and to convey the feeling that the leaves had been fossilised.
