The former Atherton Shire Council Approached me to create a sculpture which would announce the presence of the the Regional Gallery and the location of the entry way.

I chose the leaf motif as my inspiration because of the beauty of the natural environment in the north and the fact that it provides inspiration for many of the local artists in the area.

After I created this work I also designed the logo for the gallery which I based on the same motif.
